The New York Knicks have taken a massive 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals on the road over the San Antonio Spurs with a 105-104 final score. Following both wins, the series now heads to the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, where ticket prices could already make this the most expensive sporting event to date.
Before tip-off on Friday night, the get-in price for Game 3 in MSG was just under $10k at $9,990. Following the Knicks' victory, that price has now skyrocketed to $10,848, which is the cheapest ticket available.
Game 4, where the Knicks could potentially pull off the sweep, is seeing a $13,015 get in price. Should the series make it to a Game 6 back in MSG, the get-in price is already set at $10,198. An 83% increase over the last three days since the time of writing.
