Ghioto is a member of the class of 2028. The junior edge rusher plays high school football for The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida. Ghioto is teammates with four-star running back recruit Xander Edwards, who has a scholarship offer from Georgia football.
Ghioto is the No. 5 recruit in the country in the 247Sports Composite rankings. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound edge rusher is the top-ranked player at his position and the No. 2 recruit in Florida.
The Bolles School star can bench press over 400 pounds and has excellent strength. Ghioto has over 60 scholarship offers and has drawn interest from almost every major program across the nation.
The five-star visited Florida, South Carolina and Miami over the summer. Ghioto also has recent scholarship offers from Texas Tech and Clemson.
In the spring, the talented pass rusher visited with Georgia and coach Kirby Smart. The Bulldogs will do their best to pitch the elite edge rusher. Georgia already has a commitment from five-star quarterback Jayden Wade in the class of 2028, so the Bulldogs have a solid foundation in that recruiting class.
