Walker Jenkins is up! And that’s maybe where the good news ends for the Twins from this past week. The Twins’ top prospect has shown some decent discipline at the plate, but it’s only been three games, so we’ll see how the rest of the season pans out.

After losing two straight series, the Twins are now four games out of the final wild-card spot. It’s not insurmountable, but the team is fading fast and barring a couple weeks of great baseball, the Twins will likely be on the outside looking in during October.
