Toronto school chef-camp counsellor, Markham psychologist face separate sex assault charges involving youth

Toronto Police say a 39-year-old school chef and camp counsellor faces charges of sexual assault involving a female youth over a couple of years.

On Friday, cops responded to a call for unknown trouble in the Broadview Ave. and Danforth Ave. area and a sexual assault investigation began.
It’s alleged the accused met the victim through social media in 2024 and between then and July 2026, the victim was sexually and physically assaulted by the accused on multiple occasions.
Dale Jeisman, of Toronto, has been charged with sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age, two counts each of assault and sexual assault, and one count of assault/choking.
Investigators believe there may be more victims, and his image has been released.
The accused has been employed as a chef at a school in the Don Mills Rd.- Lawrence Ave. E. area and as a summer camp counsellor in the Lawrence Ave. W.-Dufferin St. area.

PSYCHOLOGIST CHARGED
York Regional Police have charged a 61-year-old Markham psychologist following the sexual assault of a youth.
Cops said on June 29, the victim attended an appointment with a psychologist at a clinic in the area of John St. and Bayview Ave. in Markham and during the appointment, the victim was given a massage and allege being touched inappropriately.
The victim was not physically injured.
On Saturday, following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Markham, Farrokh Sedigh-Delami was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Investigators are releasing his image as they believe there may be additional victims.

JEWELRY THEFT
York cops are seeking the public’s help identify a suspect in a jewelry theft in Newmarket.
Police say on June 1, a suspect entered a jewelry store in the area of Yonge St. and Davis Dr. and asked to try on a gold chain and after putting it on, fled the store on foot and was last seen on Davis.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-9, with a medium build, short brown hair and a brown goatee and last seen wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering, black pants, a black-and-white baseball cap and black-and-white shoes.

COPS PROBE SECOND SHOOTING IN HAMILTON
Police are seeking witnesses in a second overnight shooting in Hamilton Mountain’s Ryckmans neighbourhood after charging a youth with several firearms-related charges.
Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, cops were called again to the area of Atessa Dr. and Rymal Rd. E. for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings in front of an Atessa Dr. residence and no one was injured.
The first shooting happened on Tuesday morning at the same residence around 4:30 a.m.
Police say a vehicle of interest was located a short distance away, and the occupant was arrested and a firearm was recovered from the vehicle.
As a result, a Niagara-area youth has been charged with several firearms offences.
At this time, the police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and are also requesting any residents or business in the immediate neighbourhood to check their security systems for any potential video that may assist the investigation.
