The Whites have taken nine points from five matches at the start of the new campaign but face a stern test lining up against the Premier League’s reigning champions.
Discussing returning to club action after the international fixtures, the full-back said: “It was a long break that we are not used to but nice to be with the national team, have some good results and happy to be back here.
“Hopefully we will have a good game today. It is also a good test for us today to see where we are at the moment. And as everybody knows, we have been very good so far, I would say.
“But, again, you are always as good as you were in the last game so hopefully we can continue our good form today.
“Also playing away, we were not great last season here. So definitely [we want] revenge from that. And again, just keeping playing in good form. Just do the basics right today and we will see.”
