K-State basketball player out for the season due to ‘lower body injury’

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Kansas State University's women's basketball team has lost another player this season due to reported injuries.

K-State Athletics reported in a press release on Oct. 7 that junior center Ramiya White will miss the entirety of the 2026-27 season. White recently suffered a reported lower body injury.
“Ramiya White was involved in a scooter accident on Sunday,” said K-State head coach JEFF Mittie. “She sustained injuries to her lower leg that required surgery. Unfortunately, she will miss the entire 2026-27 season. We are thankful that it wasn’t worse and will support Ramiya in her recovery for next season.”

K-State will begin its 59th season with a four-game home stand starting at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 when the Wildcats face off against Wichita State.
