For Tottenham Hotspur, the wait for a Premier League goal continues… but they will be hoping today will finally be the day they break their duck against a floundering Aston Villa side.
Though Spurs have had their issues to start the season, Villa have arguably been worse off, with only a solitary point so far this season and a couple of very poor losses. Things are looking more promising for Spurs as well, with each fixture thus far showing a gradual improvement in performance, and more players returning to fitness.
Roberto De Zerbi and the home fans will be hoping this will be the moment things click. It’s a fantastic chance for Spurs to score their first goal and log their first win of the season.
