Chiefs found themselves fighting the run the next drive when the Eagles tied it 7-7. This is where the game went back and forth. Just as the 2nd quarter started, Lake View calls a screen and takes it into Eagles territory and would cap off the drive in the 2nd to go up 14-7 in thanks to Andrew Young's TD grab.
The ensuing kickoff was taken back 50+ yards by the Eagles but the drive stalls and only ends in three points leading to another Chiefs score with Young's second score of the game to go up 21-10 and eventually 35-10 at the half. Final score Friday night, 35-24 Chiefs take it to close out Homecoming week.
Lake View takes it to move to 3-1 on the season and on the road next week facing Levelland.
