Johnson City, TN -- App State handed ETSU a two-to-zero defeat on Thursday night, snapping the Buccaneers' eleven-game home unbeaten streak.

The Mountaineers applied immediate pressure, leading to an early goal by Olivia Simon off a rebound in the eighth minute. App State doubled their lead in the eighteenth minute when Ellie Garrison capitalized on a failed clearing attempt following a long throw-in.
The Bucs were outshot eleven to five and managed only two shots on goal during the match. ETSU will conclude nonconference play when they travel to Radford on Sunday at 7 p.m.
