Why ULM Will Win
The linebacking corps will be a plus.
It’s not all about Kamario Taylor and the passing game, but he’s great at hitting the short-to-midrange passes. That’s where Noah Flemmings and the Warhawk linebackers come in – they’re able to get around and get to the ball in a hurry.
There’s a passing game for the Bulldogs to worry about, with quarterback Aidan Armenta back with a one of the better receiving corps the team has had in a while.

The ULM pass rush won’t be there to bother Taylor.
The 6-4, 230-pound rising-star passer can move, and he’s got the arm to stretch the field a bit. He’ll have a hard time getting on the move against the Warhawk linebackers, but if he’s patient, the big plays will be there down the field.

The focus might be on Taylor, but Mississippi State running back Fluff Bothwell should be the real star. ULM under head coach Bryant Vincent hasn’t been good against teams that commit to the run, and that’s what the Bulldogs do as the game goes on.
