This Saturday, the Cleveland Browns will play their first game of the preseason when they take on the Chicago Bears. As of Monday, we still don’t know which quarterback will start the first preseason game between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders.
Head coach Todd Monken has indicated that both quarterbacks will each start one preseason game, and he also promoted a couple players on offense today to the first-team offense. If these preseason games are going to be used to help judge who the team’s Week 1 starting quarterback should be, then I think they should see a fair amount of action along with the rest of the offensive starters, even though Monken conveyed earlier today that he hopes to get the starters one series:
