Danny Adams, Bishop Chatard: The 5-6, 175-pound Adams was named the City Player of the Year on offense as a junior after he ran for 1,821 yards and 33 touchdowns as the Trojans finished 9-3. He also had 23 catches for 154 yards and one TD and averaged 33.1 yards on 11 kickoff returns, including one for a TD.
Chase Davis, Martinsville: The 6-6, 200-pound senior quarterback completed 59% of his passes last season for 2,510 yards and 24 touchdowns for a Class 4A sectional championship team. Davis also ran for two TDs.
Oscar Frye, Brownsburg: The 6-1, 190-pound senior quarterback and Illinois State commit shined as a junior for the Class 6A state champions, completing 60.4% of his passes for 2,505 yards and 29 TDs with just two interceptions. In two seasons, with two state titles, Frey has 5,024 passing yards and 53 TDs and 247 rushing yards and five rushing TDs.
Chase Grove, North Central: The 6-2, 180-pound junior quarterback completed 64% of his passes as a sophomore, throwing for 1,901 yards and 19 TDs. Grove also ran for 147 yards and three TDs. He has offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Purdue and UConn, among others.
Ayden Johnson, Carmel: The 5-11, 200-pound junior showed plenty of promise as a sophomore, rushing for 90 yards and two TDs the opener against Fishers. Johnson shared time in the backfield last year, finishing the season with 441 rushing yards and eight TDs and three receptions for 40 yards.
Caleb Johnson, Noblesville: A little offensive line love here. The 6-5, 275-pound senior, a Michigan State commit, is a four-star prospect and the No. 3-ranked prospect in the state by 247sports. He will attempt to help the Millers improve on last year’s 1-9 mark.
Bishop Moore, Beech Grove: The 6-7, 210-pound Moore completed 60.2% of his passes for 1,876 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior (five interceptions). He has 3,057 passing yards and 29 passing TDs in two seasons as a starter.
Izayveon Moore, Lawrence North: The 5-8, 180-pound Moore, a Purdue commit, has produced three consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons, including 1,587 yards and 30 TDs as a junior. Moore also caught eight passes for 244 yards and two TDs. For his career, Moore has 4,083 rushing yards and 61 rushing TDs and 18 receptions for 376 yards and five TDs.
Mason Oglesby, New Palestine: The senior tight end and Kansas recruit caught 34 passes for 513 yards and six touchdowns as a junior for the Class 5A undefeated state champions. Oglesby has 72 career catches for 909 yards and eight TDs. He also has 87 tackles, 12 TFLs, five fumble recoveries and three sacks on defense.
Monshun Sales, Lawrence North: The 6-5, 205-pound five-star recruit, an Indiana recruit, caught 37 passes for 794 yards and nine TDs as a junior and had 56 tackles as a safety on defense. Sales has 1,362 yards and 16 TDs in two years of varsity football. He picked IU over Texas, Ohio State, LSU and Alabama.
Branden Sharpe, Brownsburg: The senior Indiana recruit has produced individually (back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons) and as team (back-to-back Class 6A state championships). Sharpe had 59 catches for 1,143 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior. He has 127 receptions for 2,341 yards and 20 TDs overall.
Jack Sorgi, Tri-West: The 6-4, 200-pound senior quarterback and Wisconsin commit completed 61.2% of his passes last season for 2,911 yards and 31 touchdowns (14 interceptions). Sorgi also ran for 156 yards and two TDs. As a sophomore, Sorgi passed for 1,729 yards and 19 TDs.
Keyon Thomas, Warren Central: The 6-foot, 205-pound Thomas committed to Iowa in June. He rushed for 1,337 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior and caught 18 passes for 184 yards and one TD to help the Warriors win a Class 6A regional title.
Zechariah Wallace, Warren Central: The 6-3, 200-pound senior, a Western Michigan recruit, had a big junior season with 42 catches for 728 yards and 11 TDs as a junior. With junior quarterback Jack Quillen returning and most of the receiver group, Wallace should be in line for another strong season.
Andre Warfield, Avon: The 5-11, 19-pound Warfield finished last season with 1,254 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns as Avon improved by three games to 6-5. He also caught four passes for 29 yards as a junior.
