Just prior to the start of Buccaneers' training camp, DT Vita Vea has requested a trade.
The two-time Pro Bowler wants out and according to Ted Hurst of the Athletic, the Raiders are one of a few teams to which he would like to be traded.

This puts the list of teams which the Milpitas CA native would like to go at four:
- Los Angeles Rams
- Los Angeles Chargers
- San Francisco 49ers
- Las Vegas Raiders
Despite the short list, this doesn't put the Raiders in a great position to get the 6-4, 347-pounder. Not only to all three of the other teams have more available cap space, but all three other teams are in win-now mode while the Raiders are in the throes of a rebuild.
As much as the Raiders could use his services right now, Vea is 31 years of age and is set to make $18 million this season. They may not be in the position to pay him or the desire trade for a player entering the twilight of his career.
Even still, if Vea has made it known the Raiders would be a team of interest to him, it's worth noting and monitoring.
