The Texas A&M softball program has landed a versatile transfer. The Aggies announced that they have signed former Texas Tech utility player Trinitey Spencer on Wednesday.

Spencer did not play for the Red Raiders in 2026 and will have five seasons of eligibility at Texas A&M. She is from La Marque, Texas, and had an excellent career at Texas City High School.
A four-year varsity player, she hit .465 with 15 home runs, 26 doubles, and 71 RBI in 90 career games. She had a .554 on-base percentage and struck out just 27 times, working 44 walks. She had a .850 slugging percentage and adds depth to multiple spots on Texas A&M's roster for the 2027 season.
Spencer has experience at multiple infield and outfield options, giving head coach Trisha Ford a player who can fill in wherever needed. She will also have the chance to emerge as a building block due to her five years of eligibility as the Aggies look to improve on last year's performance.
Texas A&M went 38-19 during the 2026 season, falling to the Arizona State Sun Devils in the final of the College Station Regional. They have been busy in the portal improving their roster, landing three of Softball America's top 100 transfers. The group is headlined by pitcher Madison Azura, the No. 9 player in the portal.
