Glasner ready with Milan presentation for big job interview

Although Arne Slot is in the running, Oliver Glasner remains the Milan favourite and it’s reported he is doing homework to prepare a presentation in Tuesday’s meeting.

The Rossoneri are currently without a coach, director of sport, CEO or technical director after Max Allegri, Igli Tare, Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada were all sacked in one fell swoop.
As part of a total rebuild, they are seeking a new coach, and the shortlist currently seems to be down to two names.

Slot is available after he was sacked by Liverpool, just a year on from winning the Premier League, but Glasner remains the hottest target following his Conference League success at Crystal Palace.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a meeting is planned on Tuesday in Austria for both Glasner and potential new technical director Ralf Rangnick.
The tactician is doing his homework and seemingly preparing a presentation based on the current strengths and weaknesses of the Milan squad.
He wants to be ready for any difficult questions, and with a list of the players he feels should stay or go.
That includes the long selection who will return to base at the end of failed loan experiences at other clubs.
The Corriere della Sera warns that even Rangnick isn’t entirely certain as technical director, because RedBird Special Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes there shouldn’t be too much power given to one figure.
