Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe named to All-Rookie First Team
· Yahoo Sports
After a fantastic maiden season in the NBA, it's time for Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe to receive his praise and awards. In 75 games, he averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while playing next to premier stars like Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, and Paul George and he took every opportunity to learn and grow on the court.
Edgecombe was a key reason why the Sixers rallied to make the playoffs despite once again dealing with injuries and was a big part of the 3-1 comeback to upset the Boston Celtics in Round 1. He was electric in every sense of the word and is headed for a strong career as long as he can continue to build off of this type of season.
