Canadian household wealth hit a new collective high of $18.59 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2025, bolstered by strong financial markets, according to data from Statistics Canada. On average, Canadian households saw their net worth climb 5.3 per cent over the year to about $1.08 million per household by the end of the fourth quarter, following two years of consecutive quarterly gains.
