Sioux Falls secures season sweep with 119-82 win over Memphis

Southaven, MS (Skyforce) — The Sioux Falls Skyforce (15-13) earned a 119-82 victory over the Memphis Hustle (6-22) Thursday night at the Landers Center, closing out a three-games-in-five-days stretch. The win completed a season series sweep for Sioux Falls over Memphis.

The Skyforce controlled the game from the opening tip to the final whistle, winning every quarter and building a lead as large as 48 points.

Sioux Falls had six different players score 10 or more points, including two who recorded double-doubles. Miami HEAT assignee Keshad Johnson added 16 points and 10 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double, while Miami HEAT two-way center Vladislav Goldin posted 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Cam Carter led the Skyforce with 19 points, adding seven rebounds and four steals off the bench. Josh Christopher logged 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Gabe Madsen recorded 17 points, shooting 50 percent from the field (6-12) and 50 percent from three-point range (5-10).

For Memphis, Charlie Brown Jr. paced the Hustle with 16 points. Orlando Robinson contributed 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Lance Terry added 10 points off the bench.

Sioux Falls shot 49.5 percent from the field (46-93) and 48.6 percent from three-point range (17-35). Memphis managed 31 percent from the field and 21.4 percent from beyond the arc. The Skyforce also won the rebounding battle 56-47 and recorded 54 points in the paint and 29 fast-break points.

The Hustle will hit the road to face the Iowa Wolves on Sunday, March 8, at 1:00 p.m. CST at the Casey’s Center. The Skyforce return home following a three-game road trip to host the Austin Spurs on Saturday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m. CST at the Sanford Pentagon.
