WATCH: Ohio State head coach Ryan Day reacts to loss against Oregon

Well, that was far from pretty. Ohio State looked intent on putting the USC loss behind it by storming out to a 14-point lead over Oregon in the first quarter, but then the Scarlet and Gray wheels fell off. From the second quarter on, the Buckeyes got outcoached, outplayed, and outmatched against an Oregon team that has as much talent as anyone in the country, but had yet to put it together.

The Ducks did that and more on the way to a 41-28 rout of Ohio State inside the venerable Horseshoe on Saturday afternoon and evening.

OSU head coach Ryan Day met with the media as he does after every game and had to face some tough questions for the second week in a row, and the reality is that there just weren't many answers for a team struggling to find an identity after the loss of quarterback Julian Sayin.

We have Day's entire -- albeit short -- Oregon postgame press conference thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel, in case you missed any of what he had to say and are looking for some answers as well. Day discusses the big plays on defense, the unmet expectations this year, Luke Fahey's performance, and more.

As disappointing as this loss is, Ohio State now must pick itself up and prepare to play again next week against an upstart Northwestern team. There are still things to play for, but it's more about pride and finishing the season well now than anything else.
