The Tigers had control of the contest from start to finish, opening the game on a near 80-yard rushing touchdown from Terren Williams on just the third play from scrimmage.
Sarcoxie managed a first down on its second drive of the contest, but the Tigers' defense strung together a series of consecutive three-and-out stops to help build an early lead.
After Williams' opening score, quarterback Clayton Powell found the box score on back-to-back possessions. The first was a short rushing TD, followed by a long pass down the sideline to junior wideout Brayden Wolfe for six.
Lamar kept its foot on the gas throughout the first half, entering the locker room with a 42-0 lead.
While the second half didn't feature as much offensive fireworks from the hosts, the defense held strong and kept the Bears out of the endzone until the clocks struck zero.
Capping off the 55-0 shutout was a 44-yard field goal from freshman kicker Miles Whyman.
With this win, Lamar has booked a spot in the Class 2 District 4 title game, set to take on the East Newton Patriots next week.
Lamar won the regular season meeting against East Newton 52-0 and will look to capture a 19th consecutive district title on Friday, November 13 at 7 p.m.
