The Dallas Cowboys are currently gearing up for Sunday’s game on the road vs the Indianapolis Colts. The Cowboys are coming off a brutal loss at home to the Arizona Cardinals in which the team completely fell apart in the fourth quarter.
Now, the Cowboys have gotten the latest injury update ahead of Sunday’s game, with several players not participating in Thursday’s practice, including tight end Jake Ferguson, who is dealing with an ankle injury. Also listed was wide receiver George Pickens, who was a limited participant in practice due to a hamstring injury, per Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News on X, formerly Twitter.
The good news was that safety Caleb Downs was back at practice as a limited participant after dealing with a concussion and ankle injury this week.

Downs and the Cowboys’ defense melted down in the fourth quarter on Sunday, although Downs was forced to leave the game vs the Cardinals early due to a the injury.
Meanwhile, the Colts have been reeling this year, most recently having been blasted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they do still have two formidable players in Jonathan Taylor and Daniel Jones whom the Cowboys will have to contend with. As Dallas showed last week, they are more than capable of losing to anyone if they don’t bring their A-Game.
In any case, the Cowboys are set to hit the field vs the Colts on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm ET from Indianapolis. After that, Dallas will next hit the field the following weekend for a tough home game vs the San Francisco 49ers.
