Gavi has no intention of leaving Barcelona despite growing speculation about his future, with his agent, Ivan de la Pena, firmly denying reports of negotiations with Napoli or any other club.
According to a report by SPORT, the midfielder remains committed to establishing himself under Hansi Flick and has no interest in exploring a move during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old’s limited prominence in Barcelona’s first-team plans has encouraged speculation about a potential departure, with several European clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.
On that note, Bayern Munich and Premier League sides have previously been linked with the Spain international, while Napoli have emerged as the latest club mentioned in transfer reports.

However, neither Gavi nor his representative has taken steps towards arranging an exit, with the midfielder determined to continue pursuing his ambitions at the club where he developed.
Gavi’s agent denies negotiations
As stated before, Napoli have explored the possibility of signing Gavi, but for now, there have been no negotiations between his agent Ivan De la Pena and the Italian side.
In fact, the player’s agent was particularly direct when addressing the rumours, stating: “I have not negotiated with anyone. Gavi is staying.”
Simply put, even though speculation about Gavi’s future has increased because of his reduced involvement, there is no indication that Barcelona’s academy graduate is attempting to engineer an exit.

Gavi’s position is understood to be driven by his personal ambition to establish himself as an important player at Barcelona rather than seek regular minutes elsewhere.
In fact, the midfielder has already made it clear to those around him that he has no intention of abandoning his ambition to succeed at the club.
The Spaniard believes that greater continuity is what he needs to get back to his previous best.
Rather than interpreting competition for places as a reason to leave, he is convinced that he can earn a more prominent role through his performances.
