The Los Angeles Chargers are 0-7 after falling to the Los Angeles Rams on the road in Week 8. Now the Chargers will have a chance to face off against the Houston Texans at home in Week 9.

The Texans have found their fair share of struggles this season at 2-5, but they are fresh off of their annual bye and are well-rested for the matchup. The Bolts entered this week as 4.5-point underdogs, per FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under is currently set at 41.5 points.

The Chargers struggled once again when facing the Rams. The Chargers had a 9-3 lead with 2 minutes to go in the second quarter, but they proceeded to give up a touchdown drive to close out the first half, which gave the Rams the lead going into the locker room. From there, the Rams capitalized and scored twice more in the third quarter to take a 24-9 lead, which ended up being the final score.

Hope is not lost for the Chargers as they hold on to the No. 1 overall pick for the 2027 NFL Draft. However, getting a win or two would give them some morale for the second half of the season.

Perhaps this will be the week the Chargers will have a chance to get their first win.
