The Spartans picked up a top 10 victory against North Dakota this past weekend in the Lone Star State, and thus Michigan State has moved up one spot in each of the two national polls. Michigan State moved up to No. 3 in both the USA Hockey poll and USCHO.com poll this week.
The Spartans are now behind only two fellow Big Ten teams: Wisconsin at No. 1 and Michigan at No. 2. The Spartans are set to play No. 13 Boston in a two-game home series this upcoming weekend.
Michigan State sits at 5-1-0 after the victory against North Dakota this weekend. The Spartans are hosting Boston for a two-game series on Friday and Saturday this weekend.
