Brian Francis, founder of Class Trip, said the idea grew from a lunch with André 3000.
“This started over lunch with André. He was telling stories about driving up to Athens to watch the Dawgs. Then we saw Georgia vs Florida was headed to Atlanta for the first time ever. Georgia’s football and its music, together in the city that made Outkast. They put Atlanta on the map. This is our thank you,” Francis said.
Nike shot the Georgia x Outkast campaign in Athens over the summer with six NIL athletes from Georgia: cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, safety KJ Bolden, linebacker Chris Cole, tight ends Kaiden Prothro and Elyiss Williams and wide receiver Talyn Taylor.
WHAT’S IN THE COLLECTION?
The collection draws inspiration from Andre 3000 and Big Boi’s styles. Each item will feature a signature mark that combines the Georgia G and Outkast crown. The collection includes:
- a red wool varsity jacket with black leather sleeves
- football jerseys in cropped mesh and heavyweight cotton styles,
- rugby shirts
- a satin bomber

- Max90 heavyweight graphic T-shirts
- cord caps, snapback hats and bucket hats.
Nike and Class Trip also created on field gear and premium sideline apparel for Georgia athletes, coaches and staff.
Those items include eye shield decals, skullcaps, wristbands, mouthguards and three styles of gloves with Georgia and Outkast graphics.
