· Yahoo Sports
Carlota Ciganda reportedly received her latest slow-play penalty on Saturday at the Buick LPGA Shanghai.
The 36-year-old Spaniard, widely considered one of the more methodical players on tour, was penalized two strokes for violating the LPGA’s pace-of-play policy on the par-4 13th hole during the third round at Sheshan International Golf Club. The news was reported by Sky Sports’ Richard Kaufman, who also noted that Yealimi Noh was penalized for slow play on Saturday as well; Noh shot 76 to fall to T-31.

Ciganda’s par was changed to a double bogey, though the European Solheim Cup star responded with back-to-back birdies, on Nos. 14 and 15.
Ciganda shot 1-under 71, and at 4 under, she’ll enter Sunday’s final round tied for fourth, five strokes back of leader Hye-Jin Choi.
Ciganda has previously received multiple slow-play penalties, most notably at the 2023 Evian Championship, where she was disqualified for refusing to sign her scorecard after her appeal of the penalty was denied.
