Roman Wilson was settling into his role with the Steelers before a Week 5 matchup against the Colts. However, he only had one target before his momentum ended.

Wilson left the game in the second quarter after injuring his hand while attempting a catch. He didn’t return as the Steelers won, 34-22.

A third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Wilson had 166 yards in 13 games last year. This season, before the injury, he had 188 yards and two touchdowns.

What is Wilson's status following his injury?

On Oct. 17, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Wilson was placed on IR with a finger injury, sidelining him for a minimum of four weeks.

He joins Michael Pittman Jr. on IR, leaving DK Metcalf and Germie Bernard as Aaron Rodgers' biggest weapons.

Given that timeline, Wilson could return to action by November 22 against the Eagles. He could also return on November 27 against the Broncos.
