Georgia will be playing without some important offensive skill players on the road in a Bryant-Denny Stadium that thanks to a quicker than expected tour of the Yellowhammer State by Hurricane Isaias should be full and rocking.
As Kirby likes to say, games like this are why you come to Georgia. And they’re what keeps fans like us looking forward to fall Saturday nights.
It sounds trite, but I think the keys to this one are third downs and turnovers. If the Bulldog defense can consistently get off the field on 3rd downs, and if the Bulldogs are +1 in the turnover column the Red and Black win this one. If they give the Tide offense short fields off turnovers, and give Keelon Russell extra opportunities by allowing the Tide to keep moving the chains, it’ll be a rough night.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
