Travis Kelce just turned 37, and one major factor made the big day perfect.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared how he spent his birthday with his wife, Taylor Swift, in New York City.
“It feels nice because I had a lot of people reach out and say ‘happy birthday,'” Kelce said a the Wednesday, Oct. 7 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce‘s New Heights podcast. “And, yeah, it was a good day. It was a fun day. Got some food out here in New York. Went to one of my favorite spots — Torrisi. Got to hang with Tay.”

“And the best news that I got on my birthday was that we got a victory,” the athlete said, referencing his team, the Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders the previous day. “That was the happiness I had around my birthday. I got the win going into the bye [week] and we’re 4 and 0.”
His brother, who is retired from playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, asked if a loss would have “ruined” his 37th birthday.
“Losing ruins everyone’s life. Yes,” he said. “That’s the f—ing worst thing to ever go down. So if I would have lost, it would have ruined my birthday for sure.”
