Is Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez playing today?

The New England Patriots will not have cornerback Christian Gonzalez for Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills due to a shoulder injury, leaving the defense without its premier cover corner for a key AFC East matchup.
Gonzalez was unable to practice this week after appearing on the injury report with the shoulder issue. He has gotten off to a great start to the year, as he’s recorded five passes defensed across three games played thus far.

The former second-team All-Pro Gonzalez has been one of the few bright spots on the Patriots’ roster throughout the early part of the year. His absence will be missed against a high-powered Bills offense led by Josh Allen.
New England is coming off a difficult 35-6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 and enters the game against Buffalo seeking a stronger all-around performance on offense and defense. The Patriots will need Carlton Davis III to step up against DJ Moore, assuming he plays, and Khalil Shakir.
Gonzalez’s status will remain a significant storyline in Week 4 as New England monitors his recovery and prepares for the remainder of its schedule.
