George Kittle Fantasy Week 4 Start or Sit: The Summer Discount Is Fully Back
· Yahoo Sports
Denver comes to San Francisco on Sunday with Kittle second among tight ends in PFN’s Week 4 rankings, and last week against Arizona was the ‘he’s back’ game a lot of us were waiting on. He led the team in targets (seven), catches (six), yards (82) and touchdowns (two), and across the past two weeks he’s hauled in 10 of 11 targets while averaging 16.2 yards per catch on a strong snap share. Some of that needed a holding penalty to wipe out a Brock Purdy score first, but even without it he looks fully healthy and deserving of trust as a Tier 2 tight end. This isn’t a sell-high situation, it’s the payoff for embracing the discount this summer.

Should You Start or Sit George Kittle in Week 4?
We weren’t sure when the “he’s back” game for Kittle would come, but I think most of us thought it would happen at some point in 2026.
Last week (vs. Arizona) was it.

- seven targets (team-high)
- six catches (team-high)
- 82 yards (team-high)
- two touchdowns (team-high)
It should be noted that some of that production doesn’t happen if Kittle doesn’t commit a holding penalty that takes a Brock Purdy rushing score off the board, a possession that he later finished with his second score of the afternoon. Even without that fortunate chain of outcomes, San Fran’s star tight end proved himself as fully healthy and deserving of our trust as a Tier 2 tight end for the remainder of the season.

Over the past two weeks, his snap share has been strong, and he’s hauled in 10 of 11 targets, averaging 16.2 yards per catch in the process. This isn’t a sell-high situation. It’s a “you were right to embrace the discount this summer” situation, and those are the ones that can result in you raising the trophy when all is said and done.
