Lane Kiffin took shots at Ole Miss again after leading his No. 10 LSU Tigers past the No. 23 Texas A&M Aggies in a convincing 35-6 win on Saturday night.

Last week saw Kiffin talk about the LSU game being Ole Miss’ Super Bowl. He departed the Rebels to become the Tigers head coach in controversial fashion, resulting in the fanbase to turn against him and mark the date of the game on their calendar.
“If it wasn’t for the name, Ole Miss, and if it was more of a traditional name that we were playing, we hadn’t coached at before, how would everybody be feeling if, in your third game of your first year of a program, you went to Ohio State and came all the way back?” Kiffin stated at the time, via On3. Ole Miss ended up winning by a 32-24 score.

LSU needed to get back on the win column in their next game, which saw them face Texas A&M. Taking on a talented SEC squad, they dug deep as they excelled on both sides of the ball, shutting down the Aggies attack. After the game, Kiffin took another shot at Ole Miss during his postgame interview.
“Wasn’t our Super Bowl,” Kiffin said.
How Lane Kiffin, LSU performed against Texas A&M
Lane Kiffin and the No. 10 LSU Tigers are happy to be back on the win column, exciting their home fans with a strong win over a ranked Aggies squad.
LSU controlled the game from start to finish. They did most of its damage in the third quarter after leading 14-3 at halftime. The offense outmatched Texas A&M with three touchdowns in the third period, a stretch where the Aggies never recovered from for the rest of the night.
The No. 10 Tigers will look forward to their next matchup, remaining at home. They host the McNeese Cowboys in Week 5 as kickoff commences on Oct. 3 at 7:45 p.m. ET.
