Trevor Ariza on Dwight Howard: It surprised me that he wasn't included in the top 75 NBA player list. He won three straight defensive player of the year. He controlled the paint his whole healthy career, offensively and defensively. How many people have done that? Kareem, Shaq, who else controlled the paint like that? His work ethic was out of this world. He'll be in the weight room lifting an hour and a half before practice. Then he'll practice. Then he'll stay two, three, four hours after practice just shooting, working on the things that he wanted to work on to get better at. So he's somebody that always worked on his game and just seeing that mentality and work ethic, you would think it should pay off with the accolades that come with it at the end of it. But yeah, he definitely should have been in the top 75 player list. Yeah, definitely. Tony Allen: Shout out Dwight, man. I feel like Dwight gets a lot of slander, a lot of hate, too, for sure.
