Formula 1 hits the streets of Baku this weekend for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, kicking off a demanding triple-header across Asia.

Last time out, Andrea Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes claimed victory at the brand-new Madring circuit in the Spanish capital Madrid, taking his championship points tally to 292.

The Italian youngster now leads the standings by 81 points over his teammate and closest title rival George Russell after 14 rounds and is 101 points over Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton and 106 points over defending champion Lando Norris of McLaren.

As the season enters its final stretch, Antonelli will be looking to grab more wins and inch closer to his maiden title, while all drivers who are still mathematically in contention will push hard to keep their chances alive.

The 15th round of the season in Baku kicks off with Free Practice 1 (FP1) on Thursday, September 24, at 12:30 p.m. local time, followed by Free Practice 2 (FP2) later in the day at 4 p.m.

On Friday, Sept. 25, drivers will climb into their cars for the final practice run (FP3) at 12:30 p.m. before they battle for grid positions in qualifying at 4 p.m.

The 51-lap race will get underway at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26.
