Star running back Kenneth Walker III was fined $8,357 ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 2 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on 'Sunday Night Football.'

The fine was levied after Walker unwisely decided to throw a football into the stands at Arrowhead Stadium after he scored a touchdown during the Chiefs' primetime win over the Denver Broncos in Week 1.

In one of the best performances of his career, Walker rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries against the Broncos. He also caught three passes for 18 yards and scored one receiving touchdown that helped lift Kansas City to victory.

Walker will have the opportunity to appeal the fine he incurred in Week 1, but given that his conduct was a clear violation of the NFL's player conduct policy, it is unlikely he would have a case to have the financial penalty reduced or cleared altogether.
