In an interview with Marca, Harry Kane was asked whether he could have played in La Liga at some point and admitted that a move to Spain could have emerged in the past.
“There were moments when it could have happened. I wouldn’t say there were any clear opportunities, but there were some conversations in the past,” Kane said.

Although a move to Spain currently looks unlikely, with the 33-year-old promising talks with Bayern Munich over a new deal beyond 2027, Kane refused to rule anything out, while also highlighting FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid as clubs he respects hugely.
“I have a lot of respect for La Liga. Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético are some of the biggest clubs in the world. I grew up watching Ronaldo and Messi. I have tremendous respect for those teams,” Kane said.
"As we know, anything can happen in football. I never rule anything out, but for now, as I’ve said before, I’m extremely happy in Germany."
Kane joined FC Bayern from Tottenham in the summer of 2023.
