Jonathan Taylor shares optimistic thoughts in the wake of Colts’ loss

The Indianapolis Colts opened their schedule with a demoralizing 41-23 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

But Taylor told WISH-TV’s Andrew Chernoff afterward that he's confident in what Indianapolis has in place.
“There’s always gonna be adversity. You’re never just gonna come out every single week and blow out everyone,” Taylor said.
“I mean, obviously that’s what happened a little bit last year, but last year is last year. You have to come out again this year, you have to prove it.”

Taylor was one of Indianapolis’ most productive players in the loss, rushing 19 times for 98 yards and two touchdowns. He did, however, lose a fumble that Baltimore turned into points. And the Ravens finished with a hefty 506-251 advantage in total yardage.
Taylor also called the defeat an “eye-opener” and “wake-up call,” emphasizing that Indianapolis can't rely on what it accomplished in the past.
The Colts will have to respond in Week 2 when they travel to battle the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.
