That strange stat was amended in Wednesday's third inning against the Colorado Rockies, with George Lombard Jr.'s first career grand slam.
Launching a 1-0 slider over the right-field wall, near the corner, Lombard's third home run of the year gave the Yanks a 5-0 lead against Rockies starter Tomoyuki Sugano.
George Lombard Jr. homer comes after Aaron Judge's base hit
That rally began with two out and none on, as Aaron Judge collected his first hit in five at-bats since his return Tuesday night from a fractured right rib.
In an eight-pitch at-bat, Judge fouled off two full-count pitches before lacing a single to left off a splitter.
Having homered in his first AB on Wednesday, Luis Garcia Jr. followed with a double to right, and Spencer Jones walked for the second time in this game, loading the bases for Lombard.
Lombard, 21, homered in his first MLB game on Aug. 4, and his last home run prior to Wednesday's shot was on Aug. 8.
