Armagh have six among Football All-Star nominees

Six Armagh players have been included in the nominations for the 2026 All-Star Football Awards.
Galway, who overcame Kerry to win the All-Ireland crown for the first time since 2004, have 14 players on the list.

Armagh goalkeeper Brianna Mathers is named along with county team-mates Emily Druse, Lauren McConville, Blaithin Mackin, Aimee Mackin and Kelly Mallon.
The Tribeswomen have 14 nominees in the 45-player long list including keeper Leah O'Halloran, captain Kate Geraghty, sisters Niamh, Olivia and Siobhan Divilly and forwards Leanne Coen and Eva Noone.
Runners-up Kerry have 12 players nominated, while Dublin and Division 1 winners Cork have three each.
There are two apiece for Waterford, Kildare and Mayo, whilst a Meath nominee completes the nominees with the winners announced on Saturday, 14 November.
The 2026 Junior, Intermediate and Senior Players' Player of the Year Award winners will also be revealed as well as the 2026 inductee into the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Hall of Fame.
