Another minor niggle meant Nunes missed the trip to Crystal Palace, but he was then deemed fully fit by Maresca and on the bench against Coventry City on Saturday.
Nunes was spotted in training on Monday before the Champions League trip to Porto and could get more minutes, with the Manchester derby also on the horizon.
To cut a long story short, it's been a stop-start campaign for Nunes so far and he is still making way back up to match fitness.
