Steelers vs Falcons: Starters Joey Porter Jr. and Jalen Ramsey return to practice
· Yahoo Sports
On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers got to work, preparing to take on the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday in the team's season opener. For Ramsey, his status for this week's game has never really been in question. Ramsey has said he will be ready to go and is 100 percent. Meanwhile, the situation with Porter Jr. is more complicated.
Porter Jr. has been sidelined with what has been called a back injury throughout training camp and the preseason but the belief has always been that this has been more about Porter Jr. wanting a huge new contract and less about any injury.

If Porter Jr. and the Steelers can't agree to terms before Sunday, negotiations will stop until the end of the season and it will be up to Porter Jr. to decide if he wants to play out his rookie deal or sit out the season.
