3 Notre Dame draft prospects to watch vs. Wisconsin at Lambeau Field
· Yahoo Sports
The most “enemy territory” place in the NFL for the Chicago Bears is Lambeau Field in Wisconsin, home of the Green Bay Packers. This weekend, however, watching football there is a different story.

Lambeau Field will be the host of a Week 1 game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. It’s a mediocre Wisconsin team going up against a Notre Dame powerhouse that could win it all this year.
A match like this is worth scouting from an NFL draft perspective because it is a “big game” environment with pressure under the bright lights. Wisconsin doesn’t have any players (yet) who have been identified as NFL must-haves, but these Notre Dame players are worth keeping a scout's eye on:
CB Leonard Moore
Leonard Moore is going to get some strong draft praise in the coming months. There is a chance that he is someone the Bears would have to trade up for if they wanted to have a chance. If this year goes the way it could based on his talent, he may even be a top-five pick. Even though the Bears may have no chance of getting him in the end due to being too good of a team, it is still worth it to scout him in case things change. He would be great in their curent secondary.
S Tae Johnson
Like Moore, Tae Johnson may be out of reach for the Bears if he goes in the first half of the first round. He won't be a top five pick, but he should go somewhere before 20. If the Bears are picking that high and it's not an acquired pick, something went terribly wrong in 2026. Unlike Moore, he is a safety instead of a corner. That does not make him less valuable. The Bears are in need of depth at both positions since their backfield took some big injury hits. Johnson is going to try to join forces with Moore and their other defensive players to keep Wisconsin at bay. They will face many offenses with more firepower throughout their year, but Wisconsin will be a nice little appetizer for these players to get their feet under them.
EDGE Boubacar Traore
A great defensive backfield can't be successful without a strong pass rush. Well, Boubacar Traore is someone who may get some good pressure on Wisconsin's quarterback throughout the game. Edge rusher has a case to be considered the biggest need for the Bears right now. They have Montez Sweat, who is a really good player, but they need another disruptor who makes every game difficult for their opponent. Is Traore going to be one of those guys as a day-two pick? That remains to be seen, and these games will be great tests.
