Australian actor Hugh Jackman is “very interested” in buying a stake in Norwich City Football Club.
The 57-year-old is a boyhood fan of the Championship team because his English mother was born and raised in Norwich.

Celebrity chef Delia Smith, who owns a 10 percent stake with her husband Michael Wynn-Jones, has now reportedly invited Jackman to buy a small stake.
He previously rejected the opportunity to become a minority owner of the Canaries in 2010, but he has recently changed his mind.

Hugh Jackman could soon follow in the footsteps of close friend Ryan Reynolds by owning a club in the English football league.
Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney have led Wrexham from the fifth tier (National League) to the second (Championship).
They are now in the same league as Norwich City, with both clubs vying for promotion to the Premier League.
Jackman appears ready to join the Canaries and rival not only Reynolds but also several other celebrity owners, such as Tom Brady at Birmingham City.
“I am very, very interested and talking about it right now! You’re the first one to know that. There you go,” said the Wolverine star.
“Good on Ryan. You do your thing, Ryan. I’m all about the Canaries.
Meanwhile, Jackman also spoke highly of Norwich manager Philippe Clement and expects them to have a successful 2026-27 season.
Jackman continued: “Fantastic. Look at that turnaround. We were the top team in the second half of last year.
“The season has just begun. We’re gonna get going. I think it’s an exciting team, and it’s going to be an exciting year.”
