While all the eyes were on Marc Marquez making huge strides in the MotoGP title race with a double win in Aragon at the weekend, Brad Binder flew under the radar to deliver one of his best rides in a long time.

If the Red Bull KTM rider can continue this form into the last nine races of the season which is set to be his last in MotoGP before moving to the World Superbike Championship in 2027, he is bound to finish his premier class career on a high.
After starting 14th on the grid, a mistake saw Binder drop down to a lowly 20th place on Sunday before working his way back to finish the Aragon Grand Prix in a very credible 10th place. He remains 13th in the premier class championship on 78 points and is still just 12 points outside the top 10.

“I made my life difficult today. My rear tire pressure wasn’t up when I braked into Turn 11 so I lost the rear completely and blew the entrance into 12. The next lap around I saw P20 and I knew I had a big job on my hands!” Binder, who finished the sprint rave outside the points in 15th place on Saturday, told the KTM website.
“I came back to 10th so I cannot complain too much. A solid enough comeback but I have some work to do. Learning curves. I feel like we are making progress. If we can make a bit of extra speed then we’ll make a jump closer to the front.”
Marquez (237 points), who trailed title race leader Jorge Martin (256) by 40 points going into the weekend, is now only 19 points behind his fellow Spaniard. Marco Bezzecchi is third on 232 points.
Moodley’s solid return
Teenager Ruché Moodley made a solid return from a shoulder injury in Moto3. He finished in 19th place, just half a second outside the points.
