Elite in-state OL had 'great' visit, talks fit with FSU

The Florida State Seminoles have made four-star offensive lineman George Selvie III one of their top priorities in the 2028 recruiting cycle. He was in Tallahassee on Saturday for their win against the New Mexico State Aggies.
Back in April, he raved about his trip to see FSU during spring practice. This visit was more of the same as the 6-foot-3, 265-pounder spoke highly of what he saw.

"The visit was great man. They showed great hospitality," Selvie told Noles247. "It's great to see a win out there for Florida State cause last time I was here they had a loss. Seeing a good win, seeing a good showing from all fronts. Their defense played great, their offense had a few kinks but they worked it out in the fourth quarter."
In terms of where he'd fit with the Seminoles, Selvie has gotten a clear message from the coaching staff.
"I already know where they want me to be at here, if I ever do commit here, they already told me what they expect out of me, what they see in me. So I already know the expectations if I come here," Selvie said.
Selvie also mentioned that he plans to make a decision at some point at the end of his junior campaign. Offensive line recruiting hasn't been extensive for FSU under coach Herb Hand with his prowess in the transfer portal. However, that'll have to change at some point, and a player like Selvie is a great place to turn that around, which makes him an important player to watch in the 2028 class.
247Sports has Selvie listed as the nation's No. 67 overall player and the No. 4 interior offensive lineman. He's ranked as the No. 8 prospect in the state of Florida as well.
