Caitlin Clark Draws Ex-ESPN Host’s Fury After March Madness Tribute Snub

Caitlin Clark was left out of a post by NCAA March Madness which chose to celebrate ballers who stunned in college and then did more in the W. The post praised players like Paige Bueckers, A’ja Wilson, Olivia Miles and even Clark’s famous rival, Angel Reese.

Strangely enough, the handle did not want to highlight Clark’s accomplishments, with her turning out to be one of the biggest stars in the W, with many even dubbing her as the ‘face of the WNBA.’

The post got many riled up, since Clark was so evidently left out, that it looked like it was done on purpose. Linda Cohn, who is strong fan of Clark and keeps batting for her, took to her livestream to call out the handle for ignoring the Fever star, especially since she broke records during her time in the NCAA as the all-time lead scorer.

“…You’re telling me the all-time leading scorer in Division I NCAA college basketball, the woman who owns more records than every player in that promo combined, the woman who helped take the popularity of March Madness to an incredibly new different level, you couldn’t find room for her in your small-minded promo post?”Linda Cohn said.

Caitlin Clark might not be the best performing player in the W right now. However, her contribution to both the NCAA and the W cannot be ignored. Clark is often credited for bringing a whole new audience to the league, with her games often being sold-out.

Clark’s teammate, Aliyah Boston, could not help talk about this in a recent episode of her podcast with Candace Parker, admitting that there seems to be no end to the rivalry between Caitlin and Angel. In fact, the rivalry and the drama surrounding it is one reason why many fans love the two ballers.
