Clark posted a third-round 65 on Saturday at the BMW Championship to follow up the pair of 64s he shot during the first two rounds.
The 32-year-old is sitting on 17-under par for the tournament at Bellerive, five strokes clear of Rory McIlroy and Patrick Cantlay.
When Wyndham Clark is on his very best form, he’s an extremely hard man to stop, and that will certainly be the case on Sunday at the BMW Championship.

He has been seriously impressive this week in St. Louis, Missouri, but his job is far from done.
With the likes of McIlroy, Cantlay and Chris Gotterup in his rearview mirror, Clark will be well aware that he cannot afford to be complacent.
Wyndham Clark says he got ‘screwed’ during third round at the BMW Championship
Clark addressed the media after his third round at Bellerive on Saturday evening.
The five-time PGA Tour winner was asked to sum up his round in general.
And Clark highlighted one moment during his round when he felt really hard done by.

“I didn’t even hit that bad a tee-ball, just kind of got screwed where the ball ended up.
“I tried a little bit of a hero shot, and then kind of made a couple of mistakes and said, ‘all right, that kind of sucked’.
“Then I made a really nice par on two, and then after that, I kind of got into a groove and then started making some putts.
“Eight was huge making that eagle, and then I really got into a groove.“
Wyndham Clark says where he needs to improve
The American responded when asked whether there is any part of his game that he needs to tighten up ahead of the final round.
“I need to hit more fairways than I did today and make it a little less stressful,“ Clark admitted.
“But yeah, my game’s good.
“It’s unfortunate how I finished, but you know, I got a, what, five-stroke lead?
“So I’ve just got to go out and play my game.“
