The newly constituted national office-bearers are scheduled to hold their first meeting with Nabin on Saturday. The interaction will serve as an introductory session for the new team and is expected to focus on organisational priorities, coordination with party workers and strengthening the BJP’s grassroots network. The meeting assumes significance as the party prepares for upcoming Assembly elections and its longer-term organisational strategy.

Another key discussion will centre on the BJP’s nationwide ‘Modi@25’ campaign, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s completion of 25 years in public life. The party is expected to finalise the roadmap and framework for programmes to be conducted nationwide.

Meanwhile, the BJP on August 17 announced a new national team of office-bearers under party president Nabin, marking a major organisational reshuffle.

The new team includes 13 national vice-presidents, eight national general secretaries and 16 national secretaries, along with other organisational appointments. Senior leaders including Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Panda and Tirath Singh Rawat have been appointed national vice-presidents, while Smriti Irani, Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal and Biplab Kumar Deb are among those named national general secretaries.

B.L. Santhosh continues as national general secretary (organisation), while Piyush Goyal has been appointed national treasurer. The reshuffle also brings several new faces into key positions, with the party seeking to combine organisational experience with younger leadership, broader regional representation and greater social diversity.
