The Baltimore Ravens are officially taking flight in a new look.

In Saturday night's preseason opener against Philadelphia, the Ravens debuted their purple Next Flight uniform collection, giving fans their first extended look at the new designs that will represent the franchise throughout the 2026 season. The collection marks the most significant uniform transition for Baltimore in decades and arrives as the organization begins a new era under head coach Jesse Minter.

The changes are noticeable without abandoning what has made the Ravens' uniforms recognizable since the franchise's early years.

The new designs feature a midnight purple color-shifting material inspired by the iridescence of raven feathers. The jerseys also include a collar pattern depicting a raven's wings, while talon-inspired details appear throughout the pants. The white jerseys feature "Baltimore" across the front, adding another distinctive element to the road look.

The biggest change may be the new Darkness helmet, which is designed specifically for Baltimore's all-black uniform. The matte-black shell features black talon stripes and a two-tone Ravens logo with red eyes, giving the alternate combination an entirely different personality. The collection also includes the Purple Rising uniform, which continues the evolution of the alternate purple look introduced in 2024.

For a franchise that has largely maintained the same visual identity for decades, the Next Flight collection represents a significant step forward. The Ravens spent more than three years developing the uniforms, with the goal of modernizing the look without losing the identity that made it iconic.

Now, the next step is to see how the new look translates from the unveiling to the football field.
