Kaizer Chiefs without EIGHT top stars for Sundowns clash

Kaizer Chiefs will be without EIGHT of their top stars for Saturday’s showdown against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The two giants of South African football will clash in a league encounter at FNB Stadium on the day.

While Amakhosi have, so far, looked solid in all departments, they are still missing some of their top talents, and they will again be absent against the Brazilians.
This was confirmed by Chiefs head coach Fernando da Cruz when speaking to the media at Naturena on Thursday.
And the said players will be absent for various reasons – either through injury or match fitness – and Da Cruz said only one may be included.
However, he did not disclosed the name of the player who could make the matchday squad subject to late fitness tests.

“It will be the same players because the time is too short,” Da Cruz told the media.
“These players will be out of the squad, we also have one who we’re doubtful about,” he added.
